John Russell Harris was born September 14, 1952 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of the late Joseph Russell and the late Robbie (Haynes) Harris. He was employed by Mississippi Department of Transportation as an equipment operator. A long time resident of Lucedale, MS. John loved rock and roll and playing his guitar.
He is survived by his sister Sharon (Larry) Harris McGee, niece Julie McGee Trehern; nephews Mitchell Lee Harris, Aaron Matthew Harris and Joseph Allan Harris.
