Nicholas John Bergman, 15, of 431 County Route 6, Phoenix, died Saturday at University Hospital. Born in Syracuse , he was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Phoenix. He was a sophomore at J.C. Birdlebough High School, Phoenix, and he played freshman basketball and junior varsity football. He was an avid fisherman and a derby winner. Survivors: His parents, Ronald L. and Colleen Bergman of Phoenix; a sister, Mary Bergman of Phoenix; a brother, Ronald Emerson Bergman of Phoenix; his paternal grandmother, Esther Bergman of Fulton; his maternal grandmother, June Dillon of Phoenix; his maternal great-grandmother, Lucy Nelson Besley of Phoenix. Services: 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Stephen's Church, Bridge Street, Phoenix. Burial, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
