Located in NY.
I retired as a public librarian and twenty years as a school librarian. My other hobbies include scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, puzzles, and of course reading.
My house is a mini zoo: 1 fresh water tank, 1 salt water tank, 2 cats, 2 birds, 3 dogs.
Currently working on Fayetteville, and Jacksonville in Lysander.

I am trying to get the memorial manager for the 1st memorial to add info from the 2nd. The first memorial still has him Missing in Action. The remains were returned by the Vietnamese in 1984. The remains were exhumed in 1985. After Congressional hearings and further testing, the remains were finally laid to rest in 1994. | | | Maggie O

Thanks for the info regarding burials in the Jacksonville Cemetery and the Kellogs in particular.
I am researching the Zenas Wright family, many of whom lived in Oswego County and are buried in Lysander area cemeteries. My tree is on Ancestry "Elisha Wright Family" and I appreciate any and all info you come across!

Thank you for sending the Schell family information. Now could you find a Sarah Schell who married to John Steckley Baker son of Christian Baker and Sussanah Steckley.
Sarah daughter of Andrew Schell and Eva Hilts. I would love to know when Sarah Died and were she is buried? And were her parents Andrew Schell and Eva Hilts are buried???
John Stecley did remarry to a Fanny Brillinger second marriage.

Thank you so much for putting everything together; it's wonderful. Most days I'm still in disbelief. I thought for sure the memorial would help. It did, but it still doesn't seem real.
