Our lovely mother, Frances E. McClure, died of causes incident to age on Thursday, May 5, 2005. Mom was born in St. George, Utah to Don Thomas Emett and Rhoda Tait Barnum—the last of 12 children. Silva, Mona, Lola, Heartha, Anna Iva, Blanche, Truce William, Claude, Don Eldon and Merl.

She married Frank Lloyd McClure in the Salt Lake Temple, June 18, 1943, and they had an idyllic life together. Throughout her life, she and Dad were active in the Church and served a district mission in South Dakota. Dad preceded her in death in 1999.

She and Dad had four children: Leslie, Aleta, David, and Cynthia. She also leaves behind numerous grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Frances McClure was my great aunt, my grandmother was her sister Anna Iva Emett Burgess. I added another memorial because I could not contact the person who made the original. I wanted to be able to update info on her whole family. I don't remember a lot about Uncle Frank and Aunt Francis but would love to learn more. The pictures I added came from great grandma Rhoda's scrapbook. Please contact me.
