Arthur Hyrum Mineer, 90, passed away on November 27, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He resided at 950 East 4555 South in Millcreek Township, Utah at the time of his death.
He was born on December 5, 1917 in Midvale, Utah to Alma Ambrose and Karin Olson Mineer. He married Carma Allen on Septmeber 17, 1941. Carma passed away on November 4, 2008. Arthur was a veteran of World War II and a member of the LDS Church. He worked as a supervisor for EMICO.
He is survived by his children, Marolynn (Paul) Griffin, Barbara (Clark) Butler, Karen (Leigh) Kilpack, Susan (Kelly) Goodsell, 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, sister Frances Mazzie and sister-in-law Dorthy Mineer.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Winder 3rd Ward Chapel, 1250 East 4550 South, with a viewing one hour prior to the services and on Sunday, November 30 from 5-7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray.
Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
