Ethel Karin Mineer Hayes 1920 ~ 2007 Ethel Mineer Hayes, former Bountiful and Kaysville resident, passed away peacefully from natural causes, surrounded by her loving family May 26, 2007. Ethel was born Jan 10, 1920 in Midvale, Utah to Alma and Karin Mineer. She married Delmont Hayes Jan 5, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society president, and various other positions. She served a mission with her husband, Delmont, in Mesa Arizona. She is survived by children, Diane Roberts (Reese), Sally Hayes, Walter Hayes (Sherry), Michael Hayes, and Elinor Moss South (Barry); 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchil-dren. She was preceded in death by her husband Del; two infant sons, Richard and Dell; sisters, Mary McNellis and Venice Bannon; and brothers, Lawrence and Kenneth. A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 11 a.m. at the Gailey Park 2nd Ward chapel, 50 W. 300 South, Kaysville, where a viewing will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Internment is at the Bountiful City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors for all their love and support, and Inspiration Hospice for their loving care.
