According to the 1880 census, this is the husband of Susan Emily Rollo. Two of their children are also buried in this cemetery. This page used to say that Benjamin J Money was the son of Merrida Money and Sally Gardner; however recent correspondence and DNA evidence suggests that this may not be the case. There is scant evidence on the parentage of Benjamin J. Money, as he can not be found in the 1850 and 1860 census. Merrida Money has a Benjamin F Money in his household born close to the same year as Benjamin J Money and for a long time I operated on the assumption that this is indeed the same Benjamin Money who married Susan Emily Rollo. In the 1860 household of Merrida Money, they have Benjamine Money who is 12. (no middle initial.) Merrida's brother has a brother named Benjamin who had a son named Benjamin; however, this Benjamin is quite a bit younger than the Benjamin Money born to Merrida Money. Banjamin and Merrida are both sons of Joel Money.

Recently, my father in law, who is a Money descendant took a DNA test and in reviewing his DNA matches, we learned that he closely matches and has more shared DNA with the descendants of Joshua Marion Money, yet another son of Joel Money. The problem is that we cannot find census records for Joshua Marion Money for the 1850 , 1860, or 1870 census years. By 1880, Joshua Marion is no longer alive and Benjamin J Money married Susan Emily Rollo in December of 1870. At this point, since my shared DNA is strongest on Joshua Marion's line, I am actively trying to find the census records for Joshua Marion Money.
