Services for Alonzo Britton "A.B." Nobles, Jr., 68, of Mangham will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 1987 in Bethlehem Baptist Church, near Mangham with Rev. Charlie Clark and Rev. Keith Dowden officiating.

Burial will be in Ford Field Cemetery near Mangham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mr. Nobles died Tuesday, February 17, 1987 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was a life long resident of Richland Parish, a retired oil-field worker, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Pailette Nobles; one son, Garry Nobles of Mangham; two daughters, Robin Elise Nobles and Wanda Jean Nobles both of Mangham; four brothers, Emmitt Nobles of Bosco, James W. Nobles of Baskin, Harvey Nobles of Monroe and Ronald Nobles of Mangham; six sisters, Gladys Eubanks of Rayville, Kathleen Eubanks of Bastrop, Estelle Stephens of Archibald, Dovie Bell Gandy of Waterproof, Connie Evans of West Monroe, Darlene Turnage of Baskin and 3 grandchildren.

Alonzo Britton "A.B." Nobles, Jr., was the son of Alonzo Britton Nobles and Mamie Weston Nobles. He was born in Mangham 05 June 1918.

Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
