FOR DAVID MORGAN BAKER
David Morgan Baker, son of George and Elizabeth Ann Baker, was born November 27, 1881 in Blenheim, Canada, and came to the United States with his parents as a small boy settling in McBain, Michigan, and in 1904 they moved to Missouri.
Mr. Baker was united in marriage to Jennie Odor at Willow Springs, Mo. and to this union was born two sons, George and Harold. The Baker family made their home near Cabool, Mo., for a number of years, but due to Mr. Baker's failing health Mr, and Mrs. Baker moved to Caboo in 1946 where they resided until Mr. Baker's passing in October 12, 1950. His age was 68 years 10 months and 15 days.
He leaves to feel the pain of his parting his wife, of the home; the two sons and four grandchildren, all of Cabool and one sister Charlotte Jane of McBain, Mich.
Mr. Baker was a member of the Christian Church in Cabool.
I cannot think of them as dead
Who walk with me no more;
Along the path of life I tread--
The have but gone before.
Funeral services were conducted from the Christian Church of Cabool Sunday afternoon, October 15 and interment was in Cabool Cemetery.
