W.H.H. Moreland dies in Fauquier Springs .
Mr. Harrison H. Moreland died Monday June 10, at the home of his son, Mr. H.H. Moreland, near Fauquier Springs. Mr. Moreland was born at Waterford Loudoun County, October 23, 1839, so was in his ninetieth year. He lived for about twelve years in this county. He was buried at Waterford, his native place.
Religious service was held at his home by Rev. Mr. Larett, and was concluded at Waterford by the pastor of the Baptist Church there. The pall bearers were Messrs.', Malvin Colvin, Chancellor Shumate, Walter Linthicum, M.C. McClanahan, J.M. Canton and William Berry. Mr. Moreland was one of the few remaining Confederate veterans of the county.
Note: W.H.H. Moreland lived with his son 12 years before he passed in Warrenton, Virginia.
