Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Geneva Byles, 69, of Robeline, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 3, in Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Byles, and Bill Dobson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.
Mrs. Byles died at 8:25 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31, in Schumpert Medical Center. She was a native of Peason.
Survivors include six sons, Charles Byles, and Raymond Byles,both of Natchitoches, Terry Byles of Many, and Jimmie Byles, Glen Byles, and Ronnie Byles, all of Robeline; four daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Barnhill, and Mrs. Linda Bernard, both of Natchitoches, Mrs. Billie Sue Settles of Marthaville, and Mrs. Shirley French of Robeline; one sister, Mrs. Ida Mae Wolfersperger of Gulfport, Miss.; 28 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
