Robert Harrison "Harry" Taylor was the oldest son of Benjamin Branch Taylor and Minerva Ann [Elam] Taylor. He was a confederate soldier and served in the 30th Tennessee Infantry Company G druing the Civil War. He was killed in the Battle of Franklin in Williamson County, TN at the age of 24 years.
