SYLACAUGA - Memorial service for Linda Lyle Mizzell, 69, will be Friday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Max Buttram officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Leeds. Mrs. Mizzell died Sunday, Jan. 29, at her residence. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU. She was preceded in death by her brother, Virgil L. Lyle Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Dona Burrell Ivey of Meridian, MS; sisters, Betty Lou Isabell of Childersburg and Jane Glenn of Birmingham; brothers, Tommy Lyle of Chelsea and Kerry Lyle of Montevallo. The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 3, from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Renovation Project. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
