AGED BROOKFIELD RESIDENT DIES
Daniel Friend, 82, of West Brookfield, died of infirmities of age this morning at 4 o'clock at the residence of his son, J. O. Friend, on the Navarre road. He had been ill several months. Mr. Friend had been a resident of this vicinity his entire life.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Frances Friend; three sons, J. O. of the Navarre road, Hiram, of West Brookfield and William Friend of this city; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence of J. O. Friend and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church, West Brookfield. Interment will be made in the West Brookfield cemetery.
