Clyta's parents were Albert Clay Ancell, born Oct. 22, 1869 in New Madrid, New Madrid County, Missouri, died Oct. 19, 1912; and Annie Marie Moore, born Mar. 1, 1873, died Nov. 27, 1939. Clyta was born on Aug. 12, 1873 in Commerce, Scott County, Missouri, and died Jan. 14, 1993 in Sikeston, Scott County, Missouri. Clyta was known to all as "Ty Ty," a name originally given her by her younger brother Walter, who couldn't pronounce her name.- Rick Waggener
