Henry Van Damme, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully on March 17, 2003. He was born October 10, 1915 to Teofil and Barbara Van Damme. He was preceded in death by sons, Frankie Charles, William, Gerald and Henry Richard Van Damme. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Tommie; son, Ronald Van Damme and Christopher; daughters, Kathy La Jeuness and husband, Chris, Loretta Arnaudville and husband, Riley. Mildred Spalding and husband, Jim; sister, Lilly Armijo and husband, Tony; brother, Tony Van Damme and wife, Betty; 33 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Henry was active in the Knights of Columbus, Roadrunners Square Dancing and an avid golfer and fisherman. He could speak five languages fluently and served as a judge for many years. Henry was the owner of Van Damme Sheet Metal Works.
