Mrs. Amy T.P. Bates, 83 died at Clint, Texas, where she had made her home for the past 28 years. She is survived by three sons, John R. Bates, of Clint, F.M. Bates of Brawley, Cal., C.E. Bates of Akron, Ohio, and three brothers, N.B. Pulliam, of Uvalde, Texas, William Pulliam, of Presidio, Texas, and Xury Pulliam of Bowie, AZ. Funeral services will be held in the Peak-Hagedon Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joe Farr, Robert Skob, Wallace Fields, Brook Jones, Jack Marion and Harry J. Silva. Honorary pallbearers will be H.E. Vanderford. C.S. Thomas, J.C. Cooley, Joe Black, P.P. Marion, Robert Murphy. Jeff Jones, and Guy Fields.
