Raymond R. Brunson, 52, 2 Dumas, died Sunday in Porter Memorial hospital. He had been in ill health for 10 years.
Born Aug. 24, 1909 in Akron, O., he was the son of Milan and Mary (Rimert) Brunson. On Jan. 17, 1942, in Valparaiso, he married Laurel Klahn, who survives.
Brunson had been a clerical worker in the Gary Works of U.S. Steel for 25 years. He was a member of the First Baptist church.
Surviving besides the widow are one brother, Roger, Valparaiso; and his stepmother, Mrs. Cordelia Flemming, Hammond.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wetmore Funeral home with the Rev. L. E. Myers, Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 2 p.m. Tuesday until time of services.
