Eleanor Johnson Eldredge said in 2003 that Aunt Carrie remembered their family moving from Troupe County, GA. to Bowdon, GA in covered wagons. This would have been about 1877-1879.
She married Dr. James Lewis Lovvorn on December 30, 1888, who was the first doctor in Bowdon. Carrie was about
22 years old. They had four children. She died 30 October 1959, Bowdon, Georgia.
