Abstract--Joseph Henry Ayersman, 59, of Terra Alta, died last Friday in St. Mary's Hospital in Clarksburg. He was the s/o the late Adam and Rebecca DeWitt Ayersman. His wife, Edna Felton Ayersman, died in 1943. He is survived by five sons, Harry Ayersman of Baltimore, James of Morgantown, Joseph of Akron, Adam of Rockville, Ill., and William of the Air Force, station in Pittsburg; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Sullivan and Mrs. Ethelyn Shaffer of Baltimore, Mrs. Mary Hooton of Rowlesburg, and Mrs. Betty Robinette and Miss. Shirley Ayersman of Terra Alta; one brother, Ernest Ayersman of Rowlesburg; five sisters, Mrs. Daisy Stern of Cumberland, and Mrs. Ola Peaslee, Mrs. Millie Short, Mrs. Mamie Peaslee and Mrs. Zuella DeWitt, all of Rowlesburg. Burial was in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
