Conrad died June 30 1845? (There are 2 or 3 other dates from other sources), but 1845 is the corret year. Their children Abraham, John and Catherine died young, but of their remaining children, Elizabeth, Margaret, Nancy, William, and Virginia, Virginia stayed with Elizabeth until she married William Mahin. William went to live with his Uncle Edmund in Wisconsin, and Nancy stayed with Margaret Fleek Pugh and her husband, William until Nancy married John Dawson. Their Uncle James Leatherman lived in the area as well. William served in the Civil War for the Union. He married Sarah Minerva Woodling.
