Dortha M. Wilsox, 86 of Benton died at 6:51 p.m. March 9, 1994 at Franklin Hospital in Benton.
She was born December 29, 1907 in Whittington daughter of Ed and Clara (Boswell) Blanton. She married Norman Edward Wilcox, who died in 1959.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Johnston Funeral Home in Whittington with burial in Shiloh Cemetery.
Friends may call after noon at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by three sons; Thomas O. and Ferda L Wilson of Benton and Ralph E. Wilcox of Bluford; two daughters, Barbara Baker of Benton and Dorteea Emberton of Thompsonville. 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A brother, Willard Blanton of Indianapolis, Ind. and two sisters; Ruby Walker of McLeansboro, Il and Nellis Pearson of Benton.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jim, two grandsons, two brothers and a sisters.
