Beatrice Miller Rape, age 100, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away June 22, 2011. Mrs. Rape was born in Henry County the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Lucy Ida Chafin Miller. She was also preceded in death by several siblings, her husband, G.P. Rape in 1972, and a son, Wilber Rape in 1991.
Mrs. Rape was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she taught four generations of Sunday school children, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, baking and sewing.
Survivors are her children, Charles and Charlene Rape of Covington and Jerry and Vicki Rape of The Rock; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mrs. Rape will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Labolito officiating. Interment will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
