I used the dates on his headstone but in 1860 census he was born in 1856 the ages and dates of the children seem to change a lot down thru the years including info from death certificates. In 1869 Frances his mother listed his birth as March 4, 1855, but his obit says he was 76 yrs 8 mos and 18 days old.
