Clara May Kelly, daughter of M. L. and Florence Anderson, was born in Ijamsville, Jan. 20, 1881 and departed this life July 22, 1943 at herhome southwest of here, at the age of 62 yrs. 6 mo. & 2 days. She was the eldest of eight children five of whom have preceded her in death.
She was married to F.M. Kelly Nov. 13, 1898. Four children were bornto this union, two of whom have gone before.
There remains to mourn her departure, her husband, mother, a son and daughter, 12 grandchildren and a brother and sister also a host of other relatives and friends. She united with the United Brethern church in 1895 and has remained a faithful member and ardent worker. She was also a member of the Laketon W.C.T.U. for many years.
A devoted wife and mother and a neighbor in word and deed.
