She is survived by her fiance, Brian Oglesby, of Dadeville, Missouri and his sons, Dalton and Devin; her mother and step-father, Betty and Kenneth Girdley, of West Plains, Missouri; her twin brother, Ken Manes of Ocala, Florida; two sisters, Kay Barton and her husband, Danny, of Thayer, Missouri and Tonna Hollis and her husband, Ronnie, of Nixa, Missouri; four nephews, Brent Lewis of Thayer, Missouri, Broc' and Blaz' Barton of Thayer, Missouri and Kenny Owen Manes of Ocala, Florida; one niece, Kasey Manes of Puxico, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She was a 1975 graduate of Thayer High School and was director for Happy Day Nursery in Thayer for several years.
She was a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri and was an elementary teacher in the Greenfield R-IV School District.
She enjoyed children and training and showing fox trot horses.
She was of the Protestant faith.
