Mrs. Orpha B. Hook, 76, 122 1/2 South Anderson street, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday at her home. The daughter of Elmer and Martha McDaniel, she was born April 15, 1887. She was married Sept 15, 1909, to Walter Hook. She was a member of the Curtisville Christian church, the Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include the husband; three children, Elmer Hook of Tipton, Mrs. Francis Loser of Frankton, and Mrs. William Lewis of near Elwood; five grand children, and two great grandchildren. The body is at the Clark Chapel where friends may call this evening. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Clark chapel. Rev. J. E. McCoy will officiate. Burial will be made in the Cook Cemetery in New Lancaster.
