Services will be tomorrow afternoon at Ulmer-Drake Home-Sons to Serve as Pallbearers

J. F. Hodkin, 64, stone mason and resident of Carthage 50 years, died at 4:35 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Hodkin home, 522 Oak street, after an illness of several months. He suffered from glandular trouble. Mr. Hodkin was born January 11, 1867, at Humbolt, Neb. He came to Carthage at the age of 14 years and had made this his home since. He was a member of a brick mason's union.

Surviving are six sons, J. Edward Hodkin of Little Rock, Ark., Chris, Jay, Irwin and Leon Hodkin all of Carthage, William Hodkin of Dallas, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Neubauer of Sweet Springs, Mo., and Mrs. Helen Smith of Carthage; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Uffelman of Kansas City, and Mrs. Emma Beckham of Ludwick, Ark., and a brother, George Hodkin. Twenty-one grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ulmer-Drake funeral home. Sons of Mr. Hodkin will act as pallbearers, burial will be in Park cemetery.
