Funeral services for Otto Tieken, who died on Wednesday afternoon in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. at Seydler-Hill Chapel. The Rev. Glenn Howard and the Rev. David Pantermuehl will officiate, with interment in the City Cemetery.
Me. Tieken was born on Feb. 5, 1908 In Gonzales county, to John and Rosie Smith Tieken, natives respectively of Germany and Gonzales county. He was married first to Annie Englebach on Sept. 20, 1928 in Seguin, and she preceded him on death on June 22, 1950.
He married later to Mary Warlick, who also preceded him in death . He was a painter before his retirement, and lived in Green DeWitte Village. He was also a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.
I addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by two sons, six brothers and one sister.
