Word has been received of the death Friday evening of Clarence E. Barnes, who resided in Hamilton, Ohio with his son, Everett.
Mr. Barnes, 77 years old, was a former resident of New Paris. He was a retired printer and owner of a laundromat in Franklin, Ohio.
Survivors include the son, Everett; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Barnes were held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Zettler Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio.
My note: Husband of Edna (Monroe) Barnes; another son, LT. Fletcher Barnes, was killed in World War II on a aerial mission over Hanover, Germany.
