SCHIEDEL, (Wagler) Alice - Passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2008, at her residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg. She was born 85 years ago in East Zorra Township and was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (Baechler) Jutzi. Alice was predeceased by her husbands, Elmer B. Wagler in 1977, and Robert Schiedel in 2000. Dear mother of David Wagler of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by her son-in-law, Jack Gross of Kitchener; grandchildren, Shawn, Michael, Jonathan, Heidi, Linda, Michelle, Amanda, Jackie and a number of great-grandchildren. Also missed by her step-children, Robert Schiedel, Douglas and Sharon Schiedel, Donald and Marg Schiedel, David Schiedel, Betty and Peter Juknys and number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Remembered by her sisters, Ruby Roth, Velma Gerber, Hilda and Elmer L. Wagler all of New Hamburg, Esther and Howard Schwass of Tavistock and Mary Ellen and Emmanuel Brubacher of Elmira; brother-in-law, Henry Wagler and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wagler, Leola Wagler, Dora Wagler and Lizzie Zehr. Alice was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Gross and brother, Lloyd in infancy. Alice was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family interment will take place prior to the funeral service at the 19th Line Cemetery. The funeral service to celebrate Alice's life will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg with Pastor Jan Steckley and Pastor David Driedger officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Hillcrest Mennonite Church, Mennonite Central Committee or Nithview Home (New Bus Fund).
