"POWERS, MISS ELIZA, died at her home at Barboursville, Cabell county. Miss Powers was born and reared in this county, near Roanoke, where her only living sister, Mrs. R. C. Hawkins, still resides. Miss Powers was nearly 76 years of age. Survived by five brothers and the one sister.
Funeral held in Barboursville Tuesday, interment at the Barboursville cemetery."
