Clifford H. Lunt, age 79, 2002 Redwing Rd., Wausau, WI. died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Clifford was born Nov. 3, 1929 in Wausau to the late Ernest M. and Gladys (Crotteau) Lunt. He married Phyllis Kohnhorst on Feb. 24, 1951 in Wausau.
He was an Army Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in Germany. He worked in the maintenance deptartment for Wausau Homes and later as a diesel mechanic for Dickey Transportation. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, cross word puzzles and watching T.V.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, Wausau, WI.; children, Debbie Krell, Wausau, WI., Jeffery (Rebecca) Lunt, Bellvue, Colo., Michelle (Richard) Celania, Ottumwa Iowa, Josh (Brandy) Lunt, Ottumwa Iowa; brother, Eugene (Peggy) Lunt, Rock Springs, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren, Giannetta Pedersen, Jenniffer Krell, Matthew and Mark Lunt, Justin, Travis, and Nathan Thompson, Adam, Quinton, Ryan and Jacqueline Dwyer; nine great-grandchildren, Cody and Casey Pedersen, Brodie Eide, Paris Lunt, Michael Gothier, Jaret and Matthew Thompson, Abigail and Anna Paige Dwyer; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Clyde; brothers, Bob, Jim, Donald, Howard and Ernest Lunt; sister, MaryAnn Breit; grandson, Michael Lunt; and granddaughter, Courtney.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church, 3010 Eagle Ave. Wausau, WI. Rev. Thomas F. Hoelter will officiate.
