Funeral services are scheduled today at 3 p.m. at the Athens First Methodist Church for Mrs. Elzy Anna Phillips, 67, Athens.
Mrs. Phillips died Friday at 7:10 a.m. at the Athens-Limestone Hospital following a short illness.
The body will lie in state at the church from 2 until time for the service. Interment will be in the Athens City Cemetery, McConnell Service Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her husband, Sam J. Phillips; one brother, Garland W. Watkins; five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Fox, Mrs. Odell Putman, Mrs. Oleta Culps, Mrs. Joe Gates and Mrs. S. J. Sharp; her step-mother, Mrs. John W. Watkins, Ardmore, Tenn.
