She was united in marriage to Donald Gordon Fowler, at Melbourne, Arkansas, December 23, 1900 and to this union eight children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three children, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Sylvia Thorn of Salem, four sons, Harold E. Fowler of Crystal River, Florida, Elmer Don Fowler, of Houston, Texas, Eugene E. Fowler of Jacksonville, Florida and Frank Gordon Fowler of Sacramento, California, ten grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
She had been a member of the Methodist Church since she was 14 years old, and had made her home at Salem for the past two months.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 28, 1973 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, with Reverend Roe Devore of Salem and Reverend Odell Lindsey, of Ash Flat officiating.
Interment was at Corinth Cemetery.
