Florella Idelcia was the daughter of U. Posey and Fannie Adams. She was born and raised near the present day Pleasant Valley Community on Lookout Mountain in Cherokee County. She married Robert Hollis and they lived together in Etowah near the present day intersection of Tabor Rd. and Scrouge Out Drive in Etowah County. Aunt Delce and Uncle Rob never had any children of their own, and Rob was killed in a single vehicle car accident on Keener Gap Rd. in Etowah County, no one witness the wreck. Aunt Delce lived with extended family until her death. Please note also she passed away the same day as her younger brother Otto T. Adams. Their funeral and burial were held the same day at Black Creek Baptist Chuch and adjoining cemetery.
