Ott was the youngest child of Posey and Fannie Adams. He married Ms. Pearl Spears and served in the army during World War I. He died the same day as his sister Florella Idelcia Hollis and their funeral and burial was on the same day at the Black Creek Baptist Church and adjoining cemetery.
