Mae Worthington Jarman, age 85, passed away on January 20, 1990 in Orem, Utah.


Born October 14, 1904 in Salt Lake City to Orson Henry and Anna Shotwell Worthington. Married Samuel Orson Jarman on June 25, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1985. In her youth she worked for Purity Biscuit Co. She lived 26 years in Lyman, Wyoming. She moved back to Salt Lake City and worked for Granite School District until age 65. Active member LDS Church, serving in Primary, Sunday School, MIA and Relief Society. She had a great love for those with whom she worked and an unconditional love for her family, always expressing a caring and sharing attitude for all those with whom she came in contact.


Survived by her children, Boyd O., L. Lee, Roberta Mitchell, all of Provo; Lela Phillips, Taylorsville; 23 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Grandview 2nd Ward Chapel, 1120 North 850 West in Provo. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray and on Thursday one hour prior to the services at the Church in Provo.
Burial: Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights.
