She was a member of the Jeffersonton United Methodist Church and Past Matron, Culpeper Chapter #79, Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Barber is survived by her husband, Rev. Richard C Barber of Culpeper; three sons, Richard C. Barber, III, and his wife Connie, both of Richmond, William C Barber, and his wife Toni, both of Culpeper, and Patrick S Barber of Culpeper. Additional survivors include a brother, Carroll Clybern of Culpeper, a sister, Phyllis Boleyn of Bealeton; five grandchildren, Justin, Casey, Jessie, Christopher and Trevor.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 22, at Founds & Sons Funeral Home 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev Marvin C Cook officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jeffersonton United Methodist Church Building Fund, 18073 Fleetwood Lane, Jeffersonton, VA 22724. Founds & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
