During the next few winters she worked in various places in the area and returned home during the summers to help the family berry farm. In 1939 she entered nurses training at the LDS hospital in Idaho Falls. She graduated in 1941 and passed the state board exams one month later. She moved to Lovell and began her nursing career at the hospital. In Lovell, she met and married Roy Price in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Roy passed away in December of 1977. She raised a step-son, Ron (Barbara) of Roosevelt, Utah along with her sons, Brent (Nancy) of St. George, Utah; Chris (Kathy) of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Hal (Sandi) of Lovell. She has 22 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her years at the Lovell Hospital, she was the school nurse from 1956-1978. She served an LDS mission to South Carolina Columbia Mission from 1979-1981. She enjoyed traveling to visit her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for her quilting, crocheting and macramé.
She was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Ray; her parents; five brothers; one sister and one grandson, Jocob Walter Price.
She is survived by her sons; sisters May Brinkerhoff of Lovell and Ora Blackburn of Rigby, Idaho.
Interment was at the Lovell Cemetery.
