He came to Marshall Co. after his mother's death, when he was four years old. He was raised on a farm northwest of Rhodes and later adopted by his Aunt & Uncle. He attended State Center District #8 School and graduated in 1948 from the Rhodes High School.
After his marriage he and his wife moved to the farm where he had once lived and began farming.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farm Bureau and Rhodes Fire Dept.
Cause of Death;
killed when his snowmobile hit a fence Tuesday evening about 10 PM.
