Services for Wayne Hughes, 83, of Boswell will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Boswell Facility Building under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home. The Revs. Jan Lee and Alfred Uterreiner will officiate.
Mr. Hughes was born May 16, 1910, in Boswell, and died Feb. 21, 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital in Paris, Texas.
He was a rancher.
On April 11, 1936, Mr. Hughes married Geraldine Neill in Bokchito.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Frances Clark of Boswell, and Janice Lawrence of Conroe, Texas; two sons, Jerry Hughes and Larry Hughes, both of Boswell; four brothers, Clifford Hughes of Atoka, Harold Hughes of Rattan, J.V. Hughes of Durant, and Rex Hughes of Atoka; a sister, Laverne Johnson of Boswell; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Boswell's Restland Cemetery.
