*Words cannot express my love for this wonderful woman that blessed my life for several years in Houston. The love, kindness and grace that she and her family blessed me with has not, nor ever will be forgotten. She, and her family accepted me as I was with all my faults and shortcomings as a son, not just as a son-in-law. I ALWAYS felt love, acceptance and purpose in life in her and their presence. The joyous and extraordinarily "good times" filled my life with joy and happiness....

*I am so privileged to have known Laverne. Would love to be there to celebrate her life & hear all the stories but I am sick. Suzanne & Jesse you had almost 90 yrs with her, oh how blessed you are. Love all of you.
