Thomas was the son of Richard Snow and Sarah Tucker

Thomas married Elizabeth Gates and had the following children: James Mallory, John W., Byrd Jasper, Frost Thomas and Elizabeth Jane

Thomas Snow volunteered for service in the Confederate Army on May 20,1861 and served as
a private in Co. H, 21st NC Regiment with three brothers (Abner, Byrd and Frost). Thomas
was wounded May 26, 1862 at Winchester,VA and lost the sight in the left eye, discharged
August 15, 1862 from active service.(Thanks Richard Tucker)
