The Frey basement was home base for the Mennonite Youth Fellowship. Known for her hospitality, Vera loved to host families on their farm and entertained every church member for dinner in their home after they moved off the farm. Vera was a member of the Society of Farm Women No. 8, Lancaster Co. She and Harold enjoyed spending winters in Sarasota, Florida after retirement. Vera also enjoyed visiting friends, traveling to the mountains, and spending time with her family.
