Bell City - Services for John A. Dixon, 47 years old, of Bell City Route 1. Mr. Dixon died Thursday while en route to the hospital in Sikeston following a heart attack.
Mr. Dixon was a farmer here. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in New Madrid.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Zora Dixon; five sons, James, Johnnie, Joe, Don and Ted Dixon; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Davis, Brenda and Linda Dixon; his father, Fred Dixon, a brother, Clyde Dixon; two sisters, Mrs. Willa Chasteen and Mrs. Delma Chasteen and four grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Sunday in the Garden Ridge Church near Bell City. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
