Cape Girardeau - Brenda Joyce Eakin, 55 years old of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, in an automobile accident near Ware, Ill.
She was born Apr. 30, 1943, at New Madrid, the daughter of John A. and Zora Perrigan Dixon.
On Aug. 16, 1964, she married Jim Eakin at Bell City. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Christopher and Mandy Eakin; a daughter, Dr. Lori Eakin; five brothers, Jim, Joe, Ted, Johnie and Don Dixon; two sisters, Norma Davis and Linda Webster; and a grandchild, Tyler Eakin.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at Lynwood Baptist Church here. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
