Ashland Girl Dies of Burns
Frightened when her dress caught fire from the flames of a gas stove, Iva McNeal, 13 year old daughter of Theodore McNeal, ran out of a confectionary , into the street, a mass of flames. Her life was probably saved by the quick action of a spectator who smothered the flames with his overcoat. The girl, in a serious condition, was taken to the hospital where her death occurred a few days later.
