Edward "Jack" Allen -COCHRAN - Services for Edward "Jack" Allen, 86, who died Wednesday will be held Saturday at 2P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Trail Branch Cemetery. -Mr. Allen, born in Bleckley County, was a retired farmer and US Army Staff Sgt. serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters. -Survivors are his wife, Mattie Mae Cranford Allen, Cochran; son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Judy Allen, Cochran; two granddaughters, Tammie (Keith) Floyd and Dena (Regie) Jones and great grandchildren, Allen-Mikel Floyd and Britnee-Kate Floyd all of Cochran. -The family will be at the Jackie Allen residence, 303 Carol Drive, Colonial Acres and will greet friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
