Daughter of Joel Johnson and Elizabeth Cornelius.

Eleanor and James Irwin were married 04 Sep 1835 in Harrison County, Ohio by Benjamin Wood, Minister. James Irwin died sometime prior to 1845.

Eleanor and George Copper were married 15 May 1845 in Van Wert County, Ohio. They were married by Davis Johnson, Justice of the Peace. Davis was a cousin to Eleanor. George died 18 Jun 1875 while living in Freeman, Wisconsin.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Copper, of Maxwell, was held in the Congregational church at this place Tuesday afternoon, Rev. D. Donovan of Madison officiating. Deceased was seventy-five years old and had been an invalid for some time. Three daughters, Mrs. Mary S. Hutson, Mrs. Martha Thompson and Mrs. Eliza Teirney, of Wisconsin, and Alexander Copper, a son, with whom the mother resided were present to assist in the last sad rites.
Note: The Congregational Church was located in Dawson, Lac qui Parle, Minnesota.
